Malike- Travelling, moving, into the middle of life
Malike is service provided by Kehitysvammaisten Tukiliitto ry (The Finnish Association for persons with Intellectual Disabilities).
For Whom?
- For all families whose children have challenges in moving
- For all adults who need the assistance of another person and a suitable functional device in their activities
- For close persons and professionals
What?
- Events, courses and training
- Ideas and solutionsa for hobbies, participation and moving in everyday life
- Counselling, trying out and renting of functional devices
Why?
- Everyone has the right for experiences, equal opportunities for physical exercise and doing things together with other people
How?
- We use individual solutions for moving outdoors, for example skating, cycling, hiking, skiing and downhill skiing
- We co-operative with families, close persons, professionals and entrepreneurs
- Our nation-wide network of functional device rental serves at three locations
- Our operation is supported by Raha-automaattiyhdistys (Finland`s Slot Machine Association)
Where?
- In the home and living enviroment: nursery, school and activity centre
- While moving outdoors and during daily hobbies
- On courses and events
